This policy explains what we collect when you use manji.ai and its subdomains (including admin.manji.ai and studio.manji.ai), our phone and text lines, and our Facebook app "Manji Studio", and what we do with it.

What we collect

What you give us. Your name, email, phone number, business name and website, and anything you write to us: forms (booking a call, buying a plan, intake and setup forms), messages, and support requests.
Conversations with our AI assistants (for example Mia on manji.ai). What you type, and, if you use voice, what you say, which is turned into text so the assistant can answer.
Accounts. Your email and password for your dashboard. We store passwords in a form we cannot read back.
Agreements. When you sign an agreement or NDA online: the name you type, your consent, the time, your IP address, and a fingerprint (hash) of the exact document you signed.
Payments. Handled by Stripe. We receive the payment status and the details Stripe returns to us; we never see or store your full card number.
Phone and text. If you call or text a number we operate: the numbers, times, messages, and voicemail recordings and their transcripts.
How the site is used. Our own analytics, kept in our own database: pages viewed, scrolling and clicks, the page you came from, your device type, and a random session ID. On a report we send you, we record how it was read (time on page, how far you scrolled, which buttons you used). We also read your IP address at sign-in, at checkout and when you sign, to protect accounts and records. We use no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics on manji.ai.
Cookies. A sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in, and a cookie that keeps your cart or checkout together. Both are needed for the site to work.
Server logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes connection data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.

How we use it

To provide what you asked for: answer you, book calls, build and run your services, and support you.
To take payment and send invoices, receipts and service emails.
To let our AI assistants reply to you.
To keep accounts, agreements and payments secure and to prevent abuse.
To understand how our pages are used and improve them.
To contact businesses about our services. You can tell us to stop at any time.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the companies that run parts of our service for us, and only as much as each needs:

Cloudflare: hosting, our databases and file storage.
Stripe: payments.
Resend: sending email.
Twilio: phone calls and text messages.
Anthropic and OpenAI: the AI models that write our assistants' replies and turn speech into text.
Meta: for publishing our own posts to our Facebook Pages and answering comments on them (see Manji Studio below).

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights and users.

Manji Studio (our Facebook app)

Manji Studio is used only by Manji to publish Manji's own posts to Facebook Pages that Manji manages, and to answer the comments people leave on those posts. It reads those comments; for each one it keeps the commenter's public name, the comment, its time and link, and a reply our AI assistant drafts for Manji to approve. A reply is sent only when a person at Manji approves it, and only as the Page. Manji Studio does not read anyone's profile or private messages and does not post on anyone else's behalf. It keeps the IDs of the posts and replies it publishes. Its access key is stored on our own server, never in a browser.

How long we keep it

We keep information for as long as we need it to provide our services and keep our records, and longer only where the law requires.

Your choices

Ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete it: email [email protected]. See Data deletion.
Stop our marketing emails or texts at any time (reply STOP to texts, or email us).
Block or clear cookies in your browser; signing in and checkout will not work without them.

Children

Our services are for businesses and adults. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Security

We protect information with encryption in transit, access controls and limited access by staff. No system is perfectly secure.

Changes

We will post any change here with a new effective date.
